NO
FISH NO PAY POLICY- This is not a sales pitch.
Every picture on this site is from clients that have personally fished
with me. With an average of 250 guide trips per year and
the fact that I Guide on Lake Toho 12 months out of the year gives me the
confidence to offer a No-Fish No-Pay policy. As my client you will benefit
from the research I do prior to your trip to maximize your fishing day
as your time will be spent catching fish, not looking for them.
My
recommendations as to what type of fishing we do on your trip will be based on
information gathered from recent outings on the water. You won't hear me on
the phone or radio with other guides during your trip asking "where are the
fish biting?", or pulling next to other guides to fish in their area. If you
don't catch fish using what I recommend then the trip is free with the
exception of live
bait if we are live bait fishing.
RESERVATIONS - A deposit will be used to lock in the day or days you request.
Reservations are on a first come first serve basis and guarantees that you
will be fishing with me. The deposit will go towards the balance of your
trip. If you are unable to make your reserved date your deposit can be put
towards another day. As far as bad weather is concerned , lightning or high
winds are the only things that would force a trip cancellation and this is a
rare occurance. The deposit is non refundable and will go towards reserving another day in the
event of cancellation.
TRANSPORTATION: Due to the cost of fuel and insurance required to transport clients to and
from their Resorts or vacation homes there will be a $50.00 fee for
pick up and drop off service on all trips. Free
transportation is only available for
clients staying at the Best Western Main Gate
East listed on the Lodging page.
WHAT TO BRING: - A hat and polarized sunglasses are great to help with glare and U.V.
light. - A sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. - A still camera or if
you want a video camera. - Rain gear. Believe it or not Disney makes quite a
bit of money by selling ponchos so it may come in handy at the park as
well. - Ice, water and gatorade are provided but if you would like to bring
something else there is always plenty of room in the cooler. If you bring
soda or beer please bring only Plastic bottle type. - Feel free to
bring 6 pack crackers or cookies, fruit or Ritz crackers.
CHILDREN - Children
will always be welcome on my boat. Children are the future of the sport and
my goal is for them to leave with a desire to continue fishing at home. If
you bring your child expect them to have a great time and catch all of the
fish!
SURPISE
FEES- there will never be
any surprise fees on the day of your trip. All costs are listed on the
guide rates page. Payments on the day of your trip can be made in cash or
travelers checks. It is the responsibility of the client to know
their balance due. Personal checks and company checks are only accepted for
advance payment.
START
TIME:I try to be on the water by safe light for each
trip. This is generally the most productive time to start
your fishing day.
END TIME: This
can vary depending on how long it takes to get to our fishing
spot. Your day actually begins once we start fishing.
Your fishing time does not include
driving time to our fishing area and any additional moves during your trip.
The lakes in the Orlando area only take 5- 10 minutes to get across so an
extra half hour is what you can expect to be on the water during your trip.
TRIPS: I offer a variety of trips and
can be very flexible if you are looking for something
particular. As a tournament angler I specialize in fishing
with artificial lures but also fish with live bait and will
suggest which will produce best for your trip.
TACKLE
AND EQUIPMENT: Everything you need to enjoy your day
is supplied. All tackle and artificial lures. If you
would like to bring your own equipment you may do that
but please do not bring any lures. BOAT AND MOTOR: You will be fishing
out of a tournament ready Triton 20 foot Bass boat with a Mercury
225 Optimax outboard. It has Lowrance electronics
and minn kota trolling motor onboard.

LASTLY:
Expect to have a great time! Fishing is a great way to spend
the day with the family. You'll feel right at home as you
reel in the big ones.
