Toho Trophy Bass Adventures FAQ'S

WHO WILL BE THE FISHING GUIDE FOR MY TRIP?

Florida Bass Adventures is a one man show, so from beginning all the way to the end of your trip I will be your guide. I do not book trips for other guides and no photo on this site is from a client fishing on another guides boat. On the day of your trip, if you have booked with me you can look forward to seeing my smiling face on the day of your trip.

DO YOU OFFER A NO FISH NO PAY GUARANTEE?

Yes, I do. You can actually find many guides in the Orlando area offering a "no fish, no pay guarantee" on their site but none go into detail. A guarantee is only as good as what you see in writing. This is why you can find our guarantee spelled out in detail on the trip information page. I make it a point to avoid sales tactics and gimmicks to attract clients because once clients are on the water results are what you are paying for.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A TRIP?

I prefer to keep things as simple and easy as possible for a client when booking a trip. Contacting me by phone is without a doubt the most direct and easy way of setting up your trip. It allows the client the ability to verify the date is open and also provides you an opportunity to actually speak with the person you will be fishing with. I do provide email for contact but it has been my experience direct conversation tends to be less time consuming and more precise.

HOW CAN I PAY THE BALANCE OF MY TRIP?

The guide business has always been a cash business with payment expected at the conclusion of your trip so cash is preferred for final payment. We accept credit cards for final payment but be advised trip rates do not cover the additional fees associated with processing credit cards. A convenience fee of $5.00 per $100 charged will be added to the final payment if paying by credit card.

ARE THERE GATORS IN YOUR LAKES?

Yes, we have Gators in almost all of our lakes in Florida.

WHAT TYPES OF TRIPS DO YOU OFFER?

We do our best to offers something for everyone with trips catered to each individual client. Both Live Bait and Artificial Lure trips are provided and depending on the length of trip, combination trips doing both can be done. The length of each trip will vary depending on the time of year. Visit the Guide Rates Page for details on length of trip based on when you will be visiting the area.

WHICH IS BETTER LIVE BAIT OR ARTIFICIAL LURES?

Day in and Day out the simple answer will always be live bait because, it is live bait. The real question is what is best for you on your day? Every trip is unique and depending on the time of year or the clients goals one can be better than the other. There are times of the year that I will use artificial lures more than live bait because the results are the same or better than live. When you call to reserve your trip I will recommend what will be best for you based on your trip and time of year you will be fishing.

WHAT TYPE OF TRIP IS BEST FOR YOU?

Our goal is to structure every trip according to each clients goals and experience to make for a very personalized fishing trip. The initial conversation that I have with a client is a vital first step to achieving this allowing me to ask important questions so that once I know your experience and goals, the best recommendation can be made. These recommendations could be using artificial lures, live bait, length of trip, which lake to fish or type of equipment.
